    Welcome to the web site of the Virginia Forum.

    The 2013 Virginia Forum hosted by Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA, on March 21–23 was a huge success! Thank you so much to all who participated and organized such a wonderful event.

    The 2014 Virginia Forum planning is already under way. Mark your calendars: next year's Forum will be held March 13-15, 2014, at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. We hope to see you there!

    The Virginia Forum is interdisciplinary and welcomes participation from scholars, teachers, and historical professionals in all fields. The Forum brings together historians, teachers, writers, archivists, museum curators, historic site interpreters, librarians, and others engaged in the study and interpretation of Virginia history to share their knowledge, research, and experiences.

    The Virginia Forum is an annual event and is hosted by different universities and historical organizations around the state. View conference programs from past years:
